ANOTHER TRIP TO THE STATES!

By finishing 23rd today at the Western Mass. Cross Country Championships, Kay Laughlin joins her sister Abby as the only sister combination in East Longmeadow history to reach the Massachusetts All-State Championship, and they did so in consecutive years!

PVIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Kay Laughlin finished 32nd at the PVIAC Championships this past Saturday. In doing so, she actually passed several really great East Longmeadow runners' best times at Stanley Park. It is almost a who's who.

Her time of 21:31 ( even suffering a fall in the process) put her ahead of the likes of

Julie Lemanski
Katie Hakanson-Stacy

That's 3/4 of a Western Mass. Champion 4 x 800 relay team.

Nine members of the team had their season's or career best performance on this day!
