The 4 x 400 relay team qualified for the State Class meet with a 4:22.56 performance.
Killer navigated the 300 to qualify as well (44.83).
Mostly everyone is ahead of last year's pace at this time...this is GOOD!

4 x 200 #6 in the State
4 x 400 #42 in the State
Of course this is all subject to change, but let's APPLAUD everyone right NOW!

SCHOOL CLOSING
Today the school is closed, therefore there is no official practice (including Shot Put at 5:30).
It is important that you consider exactly what it is you want to do on Friday and bring that information to the table on Thursday and suggest it to the leadership of the team.
It is also equally important that you do a physical activity today, which includes doing your warmup drills. This could involve shoveling snow or running around in your neighborhood after the streets are plowed.
But most of all BE SAFE! Don't take any ridiculous chances as you are more important to the team healthy than injured.
USE TODAY TO SHOW WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED THUS FAR!

HURDLES AND SHOT PUT
We will now be doing HURDLES on MONDAY NIGHTS and SHOT PUT on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS. The switch is due to the fact that we have someone that can attend on that night!

FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE
Good day by most accounts. We'll continue to work on drills, drills and more drills. There are some folks that were notably absent. We need to find out if they are going to attend or simply "take time off".
You all know that those that want to be successful in the Spring NEED to participate in the Winter. Those that start out in the Spring are already three months behind and can't get caught up.
